Berrima is in the Wingecarribee Shire, about 11 km from Bowral and 659 metres above sea level. The village was surveyed in 1830 and is listed on the Register of the National Estate, with 16 heritage-listed sites including Berrima Court House, the Surveyor General Inn (established 1834) and Harper’s Mansion. Since March 1989 the Hume Highway has bypassed the village.
Older homes often hold older furniture: antiques, heirlooms, artwork and solid timber pieces, sometimes through narrow doorways and along garden paths.
