Straight answers
If we can do it today we say so. If we can’t, we tell you the next free slot instead of leaving you waiting.
A proper crew, not a rush job
Same two careful removalists, blankets and straps as a booked move. Urgent never means careless.
Price before we start
Same-day moves are quoted up front, so you know the cost before the truck leaves the depot.
Somewhere to put it

Same-day removalists Wollongong
Urgent and last-minute moves across the Illawarra
Most moves are booked weeks ahead, but life doesn’t always give you weeks. A settlement date changes, a lease ends early, a landlord sells, or you simply need to be out by tonight. 777 World Removals is a family-run Wollongong removal company, and we take urgent calls every day of the week.
When you call, we look at what is moving and where, then check which truck and crew can get to you. If we can move you the same day, you get the price and an arrival time before you say yes. If today is full, we offer the next free slot, often the next morning, so you can plan around it.
An urgent move still gets the full service: furniture wrapped before it is lifted, beds and tables taken apart and rebuilt, and the same crew from start to finish. If your new place isn’t ready yet, we can talk about storage so you only move once you have the keys.
How it works
Four simple steps
- 01
Call 1300 090 977
For a same-day move, call rather than email so we can check the trucks while we talk.
- 02
We check the crews
We match the size of your move to a free truck and crew and tell you honestly if today is possible.
- 03
You get the price
Your quote and arrival time are confirmed before we book you in. No surprises on the day.
- 04
We move you
The crew wraps, loads and delivers, then puts beds and tables back together at the new place.
Get ready in the time you have
There is no time for a perfect pack, and that is fine. These few things make an urgent move much faster:
- Pack the small, loose things into boxes or bags; we move the furniture as it is
- Empty drawers that are heavy or hold breakables
- Keep keys, medication, documents and chargers with you
- Check parking and lift access at both addresses
- Defrost the freezer if you can, and empty the fridge
- Tell us about stairs, narrow halls or very heavy items when you call

FAQ
Questions we get asked
Something else on your mind? Call 1300 090 977 any time, or ask for a quote and tell us in the notes.
Can you move me today?
Often, yes. It depends on which trucks and crews are free and how big your move is. Call 1300 090 977 and we will tell you straight away whether today is possible, and if not, the next free time.
How much notice do you need for an urgent move?
As much as you can give, but we take same-day bookings when a crew is free. Calling early in the day gives you the best chance of a same-day move.
Do you charge more for same-day moves?
Your price is confirmed before we book you in, so you know the cost up front. Our published local rate is $171 Per Hour + GST for two removalists and a 4.5 tonne truck, Monday to Friday.
What if my new home isn’t ready?
Ask us about storage. We can move your things into storage and deliver them when you have the keys, so you are not stuck waiting with a full house.
Do you do urgent moves outside Wollongong?
Yes, across the Illawarra, and to Sydney or interstate if a truck is free. Tell us both addresses when you call and we will let you know.
Tell us about your move
