The same crew moves everything and, if you book unpacking, unpacks the boxes into the rooms you choose.
Before the packers arrive
A little preparation makes packing day faster:
- Set aside what you are taking yourself: keys, documents, medication and valuables
- Tell us about fragile, valuable or very heavy pieces when you ask for a quote
- Clear out what you are not taking, so we only pack what is moving
- Empty and defrost the fridge the day before
- Arrange parking close to the house for the truck
- Pianos, pool tables and items over 75 kg must be declared when you ask for a quote

Do you offer full packing or just the fragile items in Kiama?
Both. We can pack the whole house, a few rooms such as the kitchen, or just the fragile pieces, and you pack the rest.
Do you bring the boxes and packing materials?
Yes. Our packers bring cartons, tape, bubble wrap, packing paper, stretch wrap and blankets, and we can deliver boxes to your door before moving day if you want to pack some things yourself.
How many boxes will I need?
As a guide, a bedroom takes 6 to 8 boxes and 2 Port a Robes, 8 to 12 boxes and 4 Port a Robes when it is moderately full, and 12 to 16 boxes and 6 Port a Robes when it is very full. A small kitchen takes 10 to 20 boxes and a living room 5 to 8, with about 10 more for each step up. Port a Robes are wardrobe boxes, so hanging clothes stay on their hangers. Use the box estimate on this page; your quote confirms the final count.
Do you unpack at the new home?
Yes. Book unpacking with your move and the same crew unpacks the boxes into the rooms you choose, and puts beds and tables back together.
